Got an email from iTunes promoting new Kygo collaborations, thought they might have snuck Best Thing on us. But alas no it's just Ellie Goulding and Selena Gomez.

Some person half my age was telling me about Kygo. I couldn't bring up that I knew bout him.

How is it impressive? They're a guest artist on someone else's song. It could have been anyone. Considering every song on the album charted, they certainly didn't help it.

This is about as big of an asterisked achievement as one could imagine.

* Weird Al's songs are parody covers
* Jackson's song was posthumous
* Madonna's song was....well, just not very good

So all four of them have asterisks, big deal. Still a cool achievement.

doh. i need to go to bed. i thought you meant spoiler free.

yeah, this has to be a spoiler friendly area.

And it's played around the 1.02.25 mark on this periscope feed:

It appears to open with a 'heartbeat' style drum beat from Larry. I remember thinking that The Morning After Innocence (which became this new song) might be the same as 'Civilisation' (I think because they were both described as the album opener). Anyway, Civilisation was described as having 'colossal' drums, and Bono called it his "favourite sonic part of a u2 song, ever".

I'm wondering if that opening is what they were referring to...
