I hate BEST BUY I just got a confirmation telling me the game I pre-ordered well in advance has been back ordered, this is now the 4th Item that I have pre-ordered through them that has come up back ordered!

So beware if you get a back ordered e-mail from them.

Is it only listed as back-ordered because it's not out yet? Maybe because there's nothing in stock it comes up as back-ordered ... but the only reason it's not in stock is because it's not yet released?

Anytime I have ever ever tried to buy an advertised item at CC, they have never ever had it in stock. EVER.

Well, CC had the new Final Fantasy video game advertised on sale for $34.99 last week and I was able to pick it up at the store.
Maybe you are in a high traffic area?

Check your local stores, but around here most of the major stores will honor the prices at other stores as long as you have an ad to prove the sale price - so you might be able to buy it at Walmart at the Circuit City price.
