After a week of NLOTH I was skipping GOYB, SUC, Crazy, WAS, COL
After a week of HTDAAB I was pretty much done with it
After a week of this I'm still listening Start--->Finish whenever time allows.

I will back off in a bit as I have a lot of other stuff to listen to, and really need to have the Vinyl to experience it properly anyway.

Who cares? There's a new album and we have months --months!-- before we're going to need another Pop thread. :happydance:

I just listened to Unforgettable Fire and I'm listening to War now, and Songs of Innocence isn't nearly as good as those two.

I listened to Boy and NLOTH (and SoI) yesterday and was surprised by how much more I liked SoI than Boy. I thought I'd enjoy Boy more.

I think Pop has higher highs than Songs of Innocence, but isn't as consistent and has a few duds, while SoI is consistently good. I don't need to listen to Joshua Tree, Achtung Baby, or Zooropa to know that I like those three more. So Songs of Innocence isn't their worst album, it's sixth out of 14.
