Sometimes when I'm driving, you know those songs that come on the radio that have sirens in them?

Damn'd if I don't want to pull over in terror everytime.

Me too! When I listen to "London Bridge" by Fergie, I always look around to see if there is a police car around. It's a natural reaction to feel a bit scared when you hear a siren. :shifty:

Why do they do it?

It's not as if it's a pretty sound is it?

When I was in New York the police have some kind of special noise that sounds like machine gun fire. Sirens, THEN machine gun fire.
There was a police car stuck behind us and it suddenly WENT OFF because we hadn't seen it and, needless to say...
And then a voice over the speaker thing "ok, let's move it people".

That's when we realised we weren't dead!

Phew! That was scary.

'Course gunshot sounds in songs can sound cool and don't always automatically have me checking myself for bleeding.

And there's a Billy Idol song with machine gun fire as I recall and I really love that one........
