Me too! When I listen to "London Bridge" by Fergie, I always look around to see if there is a police car around. It's a natural reaction to feel a bit scared when you hear a siren.

Why do they do it?

It's not as if it's a pretty sound is it?

When I was in New York the police have some kind of special noise that sounds like machine gun fire. Sirens, THEN machine gun fire.
There was a police car stuck behind us and it suddenly WENT OFF because we hadn't seen it and, needless to say...
And then a voice over the speaker thing "ok, let's move it people".

That's when we realised we weren't dead!


Phew! That was scary.
