I watched it on TV, God, this whole show is awful. I think everyone except U2 are playback.

as far as I know, playback is normal on this show. it's unusual that anyone should perform live. on the other hand, I don't believe U2 would agree to perform to playback.

I suppose most of "artists" on the show simply can't song. they would fail miserably were they actually to perform live.
