Each day people throughout Africa, particularly women and children, have to walk several miles to access water. Since 2003, the African Well Fund has funded projects that have shortened the walk for over 100,000 people. In honor of Bono's May 10th birthday, AWF is collecting funds to help some of the 258 million others throughout Africa still lacking improved access to water.
Consider making a donation to the Bono's Birthday Well fundraiser between March 17 and May 10 to shorten their walk to the water.

I really LOVE the picture of Bono drumming.
