I'd take the eyeliner gladly if it means that Bono takes his shades off more often.

One thing I noticed as the tour progressed is that he took his shades off from time to time during early shows but doesn't do so anymore. I'm really sad about that. I thought it was very fitting to sing Moment of Surrender without the shades. I'll never forget that adorable shadless smiling Bonoface at the end of the Berlin show
