Edge playing his hollow-body and semi-hollow-body guitars

Known mostly for his use of the solid-body Gibson Explorer and Les Paul's, as well as the Fender Stratocaster and Telecasters... Edge has used a decent arsenal of hollow-body and semi-hollow-body guitars by Gretsch, Gibson, Epiphone and Rickenbacker.

Here's some photos and video of Edge playing his hollow-body and semi-hollow-body guitars

Edge and his Gibson ES 330TD

The TD means thinline and dual pickups. If single pickup models would be a ES 330T

I am not sure when Edge got this guitar. Could have been something he got during the Joshua Tree tour?

I first saw of this guitar was photos from the Achtung Baby sessions and the Zoo tours.

It seems that Edge had taken a particular liking to this guitar as it did end up making appearances in the "One", "Even Better Than The Real Thing" and "Who's Gonna Right Your Wild Horses" videos.

By Popmart "One" was played on a Gretsch Country Gentleman and the ES-330TD seemed to have fallen out of favor, although it was used for "Holy Joe" at the Popmart tour launch at K-Mart

And it was also used for "Please" during the Euro MTV Awards

And it was also seen in the "Staring At The Sun" video

And this first post was just Edge and his 330TD semi-hollow body Gibson. I wonder what happened to this one? Maybe it was lost in the 2002 flood at Hanover Quay?

More Edge pics to come. Add some of your favorites of him playing his hollow or semi hollow body guitars too!

Similar to the 330TD is the Epiphone Casino.

Seems this replaced the 330TD. (This is what leads me to believe the 330TD might have been lost in the flood).

The Edge has a few of these. All from around the 1962-1966 era.

Edge has used the Casino for a number of songs, including: 'All Because of You', 'Crumbs From Your Table', 'Breathe', 2009 live performances of 'Electrical Storm' & 'The Miracle (of Joey Ramone)'....

Cool, thanks for the detailed breakdown.

Any chance you can breakdown his guitars (and intro effects) for WOWY performances over the yrs?
