The average American woman is 5'4"?! I'm 5'7" (Bono's height! ). Isn't it a little odd that there's a six-inch difference between men and women? Maybe social pressure on women to be skinny is making them eat less and stunting their growth.

... That has nothing to do with social pressure. It has to do with evolutionary differences. Check the animal world, in a lot of cases either male or female is slightly bigger than the other. It's there to see the difference between genders and a couple of other things.
