Still remember seeing it driving down the road towards me, and looking through the passenger window as it slowed down to see Bono grinning back.

I think the silver BMW he was driving over the summer is his French car.

I love any interview that mentions his driving

Zane Lowe: They do allow you some concessions though. You can still drive like a lunatic around your own town and not get pulled over. Because that ride that you gave me to your place that time was one of the most terrifying car rides I’ve ever had in my life. It took me 5 minutes to work out that the only reason you were getting away with it is because you’re Bono and everyone was just getting out of your way.

The Edge: He’s well known in the area.

Bono: They see traffic lights, in Ireland, more as advice.
