T'is the Explorer that Edge seems to be using most this tour but it is not his 'original'.

Differences? His original has a fret marker dot on the first fret. This one does not.

Some 1976 Explorer's have them and some don't.

Why the differences? Uncertain. I am not sure why that is. It might be as some were still being made in Kalamazoo, MI and other in Nashville, TN.

The one that Edge is using more often now (no fret marker on the first fret):
