Achtoon Baby art for sale!

Hi everyone,

As some of you might know, I used to do the Achtoon Baby cartoons on @U2. (I often lurked here so I could read honest reactions to my work, and I would like to thank everyone who's said nice things about my cartoons in the past. I totally was paying attention, and your kind words sincerely meant a lot to me.)

Anyway, I've decided to sell some of the paintings I made for Achtoon Baby. I'm an art teacher, but I'm taking a sabbatical during the next school year to concentrate entirely on painting and have launched a site devoted to my fine art portfolio. The site is, predictably:

You can see my portraits and still lifes there, but I've also worked up a hidden link on the site for selling my U2 stuff--I didn't want it on the navigation bar on my art site since it's not representative of my current direction. So the hidden site is here:

I have 20+ images up there now, and I plan to release my paintings in waves rather than all at once. This first batch is kind of a test run. I'm going to use the money to start up my new career as a fine artist, allowing me funds to buy supplies, brochures, and possibly a display unit I can use at art fairs and things like that.

I'm the last person to toot her own horn, but I thought some of the people who enjoyed my work over the years would be genuinely interested--apologies for the brash commercialism. Please spread the word to anyone you might know who would want some handmade U2 art.

Wow, your artwork is excellent! Watercolors are really amazing in the right hands and you use them very well! I hope everything works out well for you as you set out to make a career as an artist.

That's actually what I want to do with my life, too. I'm an art student and am going to graduate this year, but I don't know what to do after that. People are always asking me what I'm going to do with an art degree and then act like I'm being reckless for not having a plan. I just tell them that I'm waiting to see what happens.

Your paintings and drawings are amazing and your stories very funny! I have my eye on a couple of your drawings but I'm in a gray area with my job situation, but if al works well I might hit you up for it/them. In the meantime good luck with your career path you are talented and you'll do great!
