Just a question in relation to this line from 11 O'Clock Tick Tock. What is this line talking about? I know (or I think) the song is about London's underground music scene, or something like that, I was just wondering what is the significance of this line? Or am I looking to deep into? I just really like this song, and the way it is performed.

Also, is there a studio version? When was the last time it was done live?

That's one of my favourite U2 lines ever.

And Screwtape's right with the studio and live details. 11 O'clock Tick Tock used to be a live staple - it was played twice at some Boy shows and was a sort of "Streets" of its time until the end of the UF Tour. Since the end of 1985, it has been done 12 times: once on the Joshua Tree Tour, twice on Lovetown, twice on the ATYCLB promo tour, and seven times on Elevation.
