Yeah, I agree. I love the song but this last verse does ruin it to a bit for me. I really don't like the hip hop bit as it really dates the song. Most of their music has a "timeless" quality about it and they kind of ruined it for this song by tacking this verse on.

That's just my two pence anyway.....

Maybe "the last of the rockstars" is the dying man - he's prolific and the last of his kind, and his death will be the end of an era?
