Someone told me, that the line "I can`t believe the news today" has replaced another one.

Does anybody know this other line of the first version?

i think that the edge wrote the original line which was
"i cant believe the news today, dont talk to me about the rights of the ira"

as far as i know bono came back from wherever he was and changed it because it was far too risky.

i think (hope!) this is right!! i think i read it somewhere before.
