I am trying to analyse Sunday Bloody Sunday and I need examples of metaphors and symbolism in the song? Is anyone able to tall me the meaning of the song especially the last stanza?

WOW...u picked a great song to look at deeper my fellow fan friend.
However, there aren't any hidden or discreet metaphor usages in this song. The real lyric is the music. The song is a statement of how dumb it is to kill over borders and boundaries, and to make those "believe" by looking into a gun.

If you have or haven't yet...you need to check out the Sunday Bloody Sunday on the video Rattle and Hum.

Do that and get back to me, all your questions will be answered there.

"Fuck the revolution!"

killing doesn't solve anything and doesn't push anything into a greater good
