Where do you guys download Mercy? Obviously, it's not a version that has been released commercially like their other songs.

After listening to it a few more times, I couldn't make out whether it was violins or violence, so I'm going with violence bc it makes more sense to me...lol.
What we could agree on is that they should release the song officially and give us the official lyrics.

Well we DO have the official lyrics and in Bono's own handwriting it is VIOLINS.
The lyrics to Mercy are handwritten in the book from the special edition of HTDAAB. So there is no debate at all. It is violins.
