I used to wonder about this lyric--"Bullet the Blue Sky,"--before I listened to the song so many times that I stopped thinking about it, that the lyric was just naturalized. But seriously, what the hell does "bullet the blue sky" mean? Is bullet acting like a verb? i.e. "shooting the blue sky"? Is the Blue Sky's name, "Bullet"? Sure, I know, these things aren't meant to be asked, but I wondered if people ever felt the frustration of hearing this lyric's awkward grammar (part of the appeal, I know--the beauty of that lyric is it's uneasiness).

Bullet definately is being used as a verb. It's a critical look at America's foreign policy during the 80's specifically Central America. Some say it's "an anti-America" song which is complete bullshit. It's a critical look at this moment, but more so a empathetic look from the innocent citizens point of view. It's about fear.
