great song..crank worthy edge solo sliding somewhere inbetween his 90's and 80's style...however Summer Rain I fell in love with before and it never let me go..great A-Side/B-Side package

Agreed -- Summer Rain is an excellent song. I'm very curious why it's not on the album. It may have seemed to close in resemblance to Staring at the Sun, though it's not; perhaps only in its overall vibe. Theme-wise it's totally different--sort of like "In a Little While" meets "New York" performed in the key of "Dancing Barefoot."
I also connect personally with the lyrics and ideas behind the song, so that's part of my attraction to it.

Summer Rain, Always, and Big Girls are Best are all INCREDIBLE B-sides! There's just not enough room on an album, I guess!
