Has anyone read Ham On Rye by Charles Bukowski? U2 dedicated 'Dirty Day' on the Zooropa album to his memory. It is uncanny how bono's lyrical style resembles Bukowski's poetry and prose. Also the novel Ham on Rye was about Buk's relationship w/ his own father...I believe the lyrics of Dirty Day refer to Bono's relationship w/ his own father/children---what do you think??
