Yes its amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed the stories in Dubliners. I think short story writing is so hard to do. to be able to create what you want to get across with characters, plot, interesting dialogue and do so in such a short space is incredible. Joyce did it marvellously.
Its much easier to read than Ulysses too!

dubliners is a great book, the cheese however is not so great but you have to be irish to understand that

What are you talking about?

I read the book a couple of years ago, but I think I missed that part!

P.s.: favourite short stories?
Isn't "Evelyn" one of the saddest and touching thing you ever read?

And "The dead": absolutely great... The final phrases are so great!! "The snow faintly falling among all the living and the dead" (I know this isn't the correct quote, I'm just using my memory)
 
Is there anyone knowing the title of the short story where you can find, in the back of the first page, a list of things to buy.
I read in a book that the list was compiled by Nora, Joyce's wife, but I can't remember what was the title of the short story.
