What is the correct size for DVD covers?

hey up,

I'm trying to organise my bootleg DVD collection so it's not just a huge pile of CDs in my top draw. Anyhow, I've hunted down as many of the covers as I can find (got all my U2 ones) but they are all different sizes.

I should be able to find the answer easily, but for some reason it's eluding me, would anyone be so kind as to enlighten me?

Just check out a DVD Cover thats posted online and check the dimensions

that's the thing, they're all different - it doesn't matter though, I found this program called DVD cover printer which resizes any to the right one (though doesn't tell me what that is!)
