I think there is a list of remixes at http://www.atu2.com.

I downloaded a bunch of them on mp3 from Audiogalaxy but I think the program is down now :(

I have tons of CDs with remixes! (there was a time that remixes drove me crazy and I spent months downloading different ones of the same songs)

The @U2 remix inventory is pretty good (it's at www.atu2.com./collectors/remixes by the way) but it's not complete. Mainly it's just missing the edited versions of several remixes, and some lesser known (though fully authorized) remixes.

The discography listings at u2wanderer ( www.u2wanderer.org ) are probably the best, most complete listings I've seen, and not just for remixes. Go to the discography section, then go to the alphabetical listing. Every officially released version of every song is listed under the song name, including live versions, as well as the name of the release that version is available on. Example:

--Pop Album - U2
--Staring at the Sun Commercial Single - U2
--Staring at the Sun Promo Single - U2

Also, beware of many of the unauthorized mixes that float around. Some of them are terrible. Anything from the Ultra Hot Razor Crew, for instance, is just a chop-job of an album cut that repeats a guitar riff or chorus. Anyone with wave-editing software could do this.
Most of these unauthorized remixes are done by amateurs, and while it's interesting to hear what they did with a song, rarely are they anything that warrents more than a cursory listen.

Here's a partial listing:

Until the End of the World (Short Life Mix)
Numb (Ultra Hot Razor remix)
Babyface (Boy Mix)
Zooropa (911 Mix)
Slug (Jungle Remix)
The First Time (Casper Remix)
Do You Feel Loved (Alien Groove Sensation)
Even Better Than the Real Thing (Disc Drive Remix)
I Will Follow (War Stories remix)
MLK (I Have a Dream remix)
Mothers of the Disappeared (Crayon Remix) (This one is kind of cool - Didn't someone around Interference do this?)

*Mofo (Rock 2000 Remix)
*Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me (Rock 2000 Remix)
*Zoo Station (Rock 2000 Remix)
*In God's Country (Rock 2000 Positronic remix)

These last four, by DJ Rock 2000, are actually quite professional sounding. I recommend them, but I think they're are mainly available as mp3s.

Anyway, the difference is, the master tapes weren't used to create these remixes, so they just sound like less of a U2 product. It's probably best to stick with authorized releases... there are plenty of those to collect.
