Over the past few years ive been able to gather lots of U2 media
from sharing the groove, the u2 hub, u2brs and trades. Id like to thank all those who have contributed to my collection especially mark, frank, nick (u2bloodredsky/hub) along with chrisedge and u2rulesmyworld, who have been taking a lot of heat from u2 fans for not sharing their rarer dvds. Before you bash on these guys, just remember where you got the R/H outtakes, irving plaza, la's yoshua tree etc..

Ill be offering 10 DVDs, 1 dvd per person, from my dvd list

http://www.geocities.com/u2warlp/dvd.htm

please make sure the dvd you pick is 1 disc and is compatible
with your dvd player. Dont forget to include your email address as well.

1997-12-03 Mexico City is not the official release.
Its the unedited version

Thanks for reminding me dont select the following 2.

1993-11-27
Sydney, Australia

Misc
The Making Of The Joshua Tree

Very nice offer

I would like 1987-11-18 Los Angeles, CA, USA or a JT era recording. I have no U2 vids (other than those officially released), and am just starting out my collection. If you have one that you believe is essential, I would take that instead. But my favorite time period is JT by far.

How do you get a collection started btw?

jimbo913@comcast.net

thanks again :)

1987-11-18- Los Angeles is one of the best Pro Shot dvds
available. An excellent pick

You can get started by registering with

www.sharingthegroove.org

There is always a few u2 shows available for downloading, mostly shns and dvds.

You'll need to download a bit torrent client first, i recommend torrent storm. You can read up on how this new form of downloading works at http://www.torrentstorm.com/

Once you reach 1gb of u2 media you can register with the u2 hubs.

www.u2bloodredskyhub.com

Yeah you should sign up at STG jimbo913. Someone maintains a list of all the available U2 torrents, and there's usually 3 or 4 DVDs a month, as well as lossless concerts, etc. Unfortunately STG is down for upgrades until the 29th. :(

thanks all! I did go there last night, but I just thought the site had been taken down or something. I actually used to get stuff from them back in my grateful dead years.

To be honest though, I have never had any luck with bit torrents. It just kinda always sits there for me, and does nothing. I will try again though when they go back live. Thanks again!

WOW!
Isn't this just THE best forum/place to be!!!

Lots of fans have already helped me out with starting my DVD collection (in fact, Neutral is burning one as we speak ) and I already own about 2 DVD sets now, but if I can be a 'cheeky girl' and ask for "U2 TV Appearances (1983-1990) (PAL)" then I will be forever grateful!!!

I'm in the UK, but I can send you a few extra blank DVDs rather than the postage if that's okay?

mail me u2sweetestgirl@yahoo.co.uk

I will be showing my thanks for everyone's help in the next few days...

I took the advice of someone on STG and bought the Cyberhome DVD player that is sold at Best Buy for about $30.00, its small, cute and will play absolutely anything, PAL or NTSC.

Have been collecting the PAL DVD's ever since.

what's different about this show?

Well I want it regardless of the difference so count me in!

lemonedge430@yahoo.com

I think I still have your address info from last time. I wish I had something to send you in return but I don't have a dvd burner. I just can do vcd's so if that's of interest to you let me know.

I recently purchased one of these machines and it was the best 30-some-bucks I've spent in a long time!

Theres not much a difference. you get to hear edge mess up during i still havent found what im looking for, more bono talk before last night on earth, mexican women going nuts over bono during with or without you, bono getting mad at a fan for pointing a laser pointer directly at his face (pride), larry forgot to tape/glue his drumsticks to his hand and as a result of that he loses control of his drumsticks at the beginning of new years day

theres also different camera shots through out the show.
