Newbie needs help!

Hi all,

I've got 70-80 shows most of which seem fine to me. Can somone please tell me how I can tell if a show is MP3 sourced or not. Is is just a question of clicks between tracks or is there more to it.

I would appreciate some guidance on this because I really don't want to deceive anyone I'm trading with.

I'll let someone else detail the answer on how to find out if your show is mp3 sourced (I know this question has been answered before - you use some software (soundforge?) and look at the audio graph/wave for the cut-off frequency of the highs).

But, in regards to clicks between tracks, I have some shn sourced shows which weren't indexed or 'cut' properly and so that show would have clicks between the tracks if I didn't use Jam (for the Mac) to get rid of those clicks. If I wanted to, I could convert an mp3 show into audio and easily get rid of the clicks between the tracks. So you won't be able to tell an mp3 sourced show by clicking alone.
