12 hours of Zoo TV onto DVD...

I have 12 hours of rare TV documentaries, interviews, live footage etc from the Zoo TV tour, all in chronological order and all of great quality.

Is there anyone on this that would be able to convert these onto DVD if I send them the videos?

I'm based in England, so if anyone from the UK can do that, that would be great.

3 DVDs with MPG audio or 5 DVDs with PCM audio?? 5 seems a bit much!

PAL or NTSC? I can play either format myself but what's the consensus??

What is the date of the official Zooropa Sydney footage? 27/11/93? Is 26/11/93 unreleased stuff?

If this isn't the case, and because official footage can't be torrented at Easytree, are there similiar restrictions @ Tradersden, Chrisedge?

It would be helpful if there is someone in the UK from Tradersden who I could send these out to because I only have 5-8 KB/s upload speed at the moment and can't afford to upgrade.

I know normally I'm a big proponent of PCM vs. mp2 or AC3, but in this case since it's mostly interviews & clips rather than a concert dvd going compressed would be fine. I'd definitely leave it PAL, since I assume the original clips are PAL. Not sure if this is OK for seeding at the Den...you're right it would get banned at EZT; they're getting very particular about "official" releases. Very much looking forward to these though...looks awesome!

i work in post production so we're loaded with equipment for this type of thing - its pretty easy to take something of vcr, stream it and lay it down to dvd.
duplicates are easy too...

The ZooTV Sydney gig released officially is 1993-11-27. If this stuff is really from the first night (with Stuart Morgan on bass rather than Adam), then it should be fine at Easytree.

Wow that sounds like a great list of stuff any U2 fan would love to have.

Here is how I can help. Firstly I am in Adelaide Australia, so I cant actually assist you transferring them to dvd. However I have a solution that I'd hope you would be interested in considering.

I could send you a standalone dvd burner, for you to keep (free of charge ofcourse). What that would mean is that you could plug your video directly into the back of it and record. Its that simple.

Once you have done that, I would appreciate if you could send me a copy on dvd of what you had transferred, in which I would then copy myself, and send a copy to each of the U2 members who have posted in this thread before me. Its up to them if they want to distribute to others after that.
