Uh, that's tough. I would say the RAH one because it's very solid throughout, but I'm not a huge fan of Bono's voice from the time. I get by with the WAIA one.

I totally forgot this version ealier on. This one made Bad my #1 U2 song.
Absolutely brilliant imo. He sings wide awake so easily here.

Easy question. The version from the Boston Elevation DVD is my all-time favorite performance of any song.

I like most versions during the Elevation tour. I think his voice in that period fits the song better than ZooTV or even any time in the 80s.

ETA: And of course, I was ecstatic when they played it in Chicago on May 7th 05

Yeah the Boston '01 version with the seque into 40/Streets is cool.

Still like the WAIA Bruxelles '84 one though :cute:

The album version. It's always great live, and I don't feel a U2 show is really complete without it. But the sonic density of the album version makes it unbeatable for me. The drums and cymbals are Larry at his best, and I especially love the distorted guitar power chords (or is it a treated keyboard?) that kick in at 5:18 and continue to the end of the song.
