I'm talking stuff like B-Sides, Deep Tracks, Alternate Versions, Unreleased material, new songs that have been played live (like North Star, or Glastonbury from 360)...looking to put together a list of songs that aren't "well-known" outside of U2's deep "blue crack" community :D

What do you guys have?

North and South of the River, Levitate, Lady w/the Spinning Head, Native Son, but most importantly...

Room at the Heartbreak Hotel

Walk On - UK Single Mix (Hallelujah ending)
With or Without You - Skullduggery Mix (found it on YouTube)
A Sort of Homecoming - Lillywhite Mix (just recently discovered this...yes, I'm late to the party.
With or Without You Live from Milan (U2 18 version)

Native Son, Winter, and the Jools Holland version of Velvet Dress are all probably in my top 25.

I'm Not Your Baby skysplitter dub
Alex Descends Into Hell
Dancing Barefoot
Deep in the Heart
Walk to the Water
A Room at the Heartbreak Hotel
Soon
Love Comes Tumbling
North and South if the River

I never heard the Lillywhite mix? At least I don't think I have.

That's because it was released under the name "Danny Lanois" mix....lol

I have Lillywhite on my mind due to the Red Hill Mining Town release....my bad :)

I have a playlist mostly post-1990 containing only original songs, no covers, no dance remixes. I didn't make a separate one for the 1980s because the official Best Of did a much better job of compiling b-sides from that era. Some tracks like Winter and Invisible have been inserted into my custom playlists for their respective albums so I didn't include them here.

Alex Descends Into Hell For A Bottle Of Milk/Korova 1
Lady With The Spinning Head (UVI)
Holy Joe (Guilty Mix)
Salome
Fast Cars
Down All The Days
North and South of the River
Soon
I'm Not Your Baby
Heaven And Hell
No Line On the Horizon
Treasure (Whatever Happened to Pete the Chop)
Are You Gonna Wait Forever
Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me
Holy Joe (Garage Mix)
Goldeneye (Demo 1)
Near The Island (Instrumental)
Tomorrow (Bono + Adam)
Two Shots Of Happy, One Shot Of Sad
Slow Dancing
North and South of the River (live Omagh tribute)
Mercy

You mean the fucking Lion Sleeps Tonight Mix? The only thing that's good for is eliciting a laugh. Shame it's at the expense of U2's best song.

The UF & JT era b-sides. Which as a collection is better than 75% of the rest of U2's regular catalogue.

You can make a damn fine album just with those b-sides and a couple of cuts from the Heroine soundtrack.

To reply to the OP, I don't have such a playlist, since I use all the b-sides and non-album tracks that I like on my custom versions of albums. But if I were to make such a playlist, and to go chronologically, it would look something like:

The Fool
Lost on a Silent Planet
False Prophet
Treasure (Whatever Happened to Pete the Chop?)
11 O'clock Tick Tock (Under a Blood Red Sky video)
The Three Sunrises
Love Comes Tumbling
Boomerang II
Bass Trap
Rowena's Theme
Heroine
Luminous Times
Spanish Eyes
Wild Irish Rose
Alex Descends Into Hell
Lady With the Spinning Head (Extended Dance Remix)
Where Did It All Go Wrong?
United Colours
Slug
Your Blue Room
Always Forever Now
Beach Sequence
One Minute Warning
Theme From Let's Go Native
North and South of the River
The Ground Beneath Her Feet
Summer Rain
Electrical Storm (original mix or the Radio One version, either will do)
Are You Gonna Wait Forever
Fast Cars
Smile
Mercy (original version)

I'm not counting HMTMKMKM because it was a big single and appears on the main disc of a Best Of. I was going to exclude Electrical Storm too until I remembered U2 made one of the most baffling errors of judgement by putting that neutered William Orbit Mix on the Best Of's main disc and consigned the much better original to obscurity on the bonus disc - and, of course, did not so much as properly release that slightly different mix that got played on Radio One.

So I first heard it a couple months back on iTunes(happened across it) and bought it because I always enjoy hearing Alternate(or Baby) versions of U2 songs done by U2. I can say I have yet to hear one better than the original(here is a reason they were not the final cut) but I like them.

As for ASOH, I really like the original and this "new" mix is not bad. Yes, that opening and the chorus throughout walk a fine line between very cheesy and somewhat palatable but it is what it is....an after thought of a version.

I am very excited to hear the alternate of ISHFWILF and I know it won't be as classic as the original but I'm aiming for something closer to "interesting" vs "great".

I have to say I really enjoy the WGRYWH baby version along with the One baby version. Nice takes on two great tunes.
