Popmart- 1 (Columbus)
Elevation 3 (Columbus, Indianapolis, South Bend)
Vertigo 3 (Chicago 5/7, Pittsburgh, Detroit 10/25)
360 3- (Chicago 9/13, East Lansing, Pittsburgh)

- I recently downloaded a bootleg of that Popmart Columbus show, and while it's an improvement over the train wreck that was the Vegas show, they still were nowhere near how good they sound by the time they got to Rotterdam, and light years away from how awesome Mexico City show was.

- Elevation tour is my favorite. The Columbus show was first, and was the best show I've ever been to. Indy was a couple days later, and while it was the same show on paper, something seemed "off" compared to the Columbus show. The South Bend show post 9/11 seemed like a completely different tour, and is probably my least favorite U2 show I've been to.

- I really enjoyed the Vertigo Tour, all 3 shows I saw had a nice setlist variety, especially the 2nd Detroit show (which I only got tickets for because I missed the Cleveland on sale.)

- 360 was great as well, but the 2009 and the 2011 shows were VERY different, the only thing that was the same was the giant stage.

Pop mart in Vegas was not a train wreck. It was such a great day with all the pre Shows and Rage Against the Machines

Really not sure what my favorite was. The second leg of 360 was incredible. The Toronto Vertigo show where they did Pop Muzik - > Discotheque was awesome as well. First two shows I ever went to in Albany and Hartford were really cool too -- Bono's voice was totally shot, but still powered through them, especially in Albany.

I guess I have been doing it all wrong. I have only been to three of their shows as I was married raiding children. How do you diehard people go to so many shows on just one tour?

I've been to dozens of concerts in UK and Australia and was lucky enough to be present for:

Lovetown Sydney Nov '89 filmed by Richard Lowenstein

ZooTV (Zoomerang) Sydney Nov '93 filmed for, Showtime, video and later DVD release

360 Sydney Nov '06 where Kite was recorded for WITS single

But my favourite concert was ZooTV Earl's Court London in May '92. The closer was an amazing version of Love is Blindness and it was the first time I'd heard the re-imaged BTBS/RTSS duo which blew me away.

That concert also featured 10 songs from Achtung Baby so who wouldn't be happy!

1993 - Zooropa on Munich
1997 - Popmart on Višnja
2001 - elevation in Torino (one of only couple of outdoor toga)
2005 - Vertigo in Vienna
2009 - 360 - one tog in Barcelona and 2 gigs in Zagreb

The most impressive was ZooTv. I was only 17 and was amazed at what I was looking at. And it was my first stadium concert in my life so it was completely overwhelming

On the other hand elevation in Torino was the strongest emotional experience in a rock concert I ever had. They were special that night with unplanned extra encore, cried was crazy and it sticks with me more than Zooropa in 93

1x Popmart (Austria)
2x Elevation indoor (Vienna) + 1 Slane Castle
3x Vertigo (Vienna, Munich, NYC)
4x 360° (2x Amsterdam, 1x London, 1x Vienna)

Popmart was great - first live U2 concert and of course ... POP.. POP..POP MUZIK
Elevation Indoor was intense
Didn't like Vertigo shows that much

First tour I went to was The Unforgettable Fire, when I was a kid and I've been to all of them since then. My top 3 from the ones I attended were:

1. ZOO TV (Gothenburg)
2. Lovetown (Amsterdam)
3. The Unforgettable Fire (Dublin)

POPMART: Giants Stadium (2 nights)- this was my first concert and it was amazing but when comparing it to following tours it ranks last.

Elevation: MSG (1 show)- This made me realize that arena shows are better than stadiums. Best version of the Fly and Streets! This was my favorite tour!

Vertigo: MSG (2 shows)- Best set list of any tour for me and the Electric Co from one of the nights was one of the best live songs I ever heard from them. Ending the show with 40 was also awesome and hearing Zoostation was also a treat. Streets was very weak but the tour was a lot of fun and is ranked #2 for me.

U2 360: Giants Stadium (2 shows-2009/20011)- wow, 88,000 and 84,000 people at these shows and it was an amazing sight. Awesome shows but GA was miserable(my first time trying it) and it really wasn't for me....I'm a stands guy(I don't sit at all but its nice to have a spot of your own). Much better than POPMART.....blew it out of the water.

Amnesty International-LA and NJ
Joshua Tree-several NY and NJ shows, Boston, San Diego, LA, Hartford, Philly, Hampton, VA
Zoo TV-MSG, Nassau Coliseum and Giants Stadium

I loved all the tours but the Joshua Tree was my favorite. I have fond memories of traveling the States to see the band.

It's been almost 23 years since I saw the band. I am really looking forward to going.

All tours since the Joshua Tree. Several faves including my very first Joshua tree show, where I was front row dead center at RFK Stadium. However Bono dislocated his shoulder so the show was cut short. Zoo TV probably stands out as my favorite tour including the Hershey rehearsal show. There have been many more fantastic shows among the 46 I've been to.
