Secretly listening to a U2 record that's beyond th
Ok so I was just thinking about how I love listening to each U2 album the best at certain times of the year and day. Each one is unique and different, so what are your favorite listening times?

Choose a time of the year (Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall) and time of day (day or night).

Boy- Summer/Day
October- Spring/Night
War- Winter/Day
The Unforgettable Fire- Fall/Night
The Joshua Tree- Summer/Day
(yes I skipped R&H :p)
Achtung Baby- Summer/Night
Zooropa- Summer/Day
Pop- Summer/Night
All That You Can't Leave Behind- Fall/Day
How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb- Winter/Night
No Line On The Horizon- Winter/Really depends of my mood but if I had to pick one I'd say Day

Boy-Fall/Winter Day
October-Fall/Winter Day
War-Fall/Winter Day
UF-Summer/Fall/Winter Night
JT-Spring/Summer Day
RH-Spring/Summer Day
AB-Fall/Winter Day and Night
Zooropa-Summer/Day and Night

First impressions mean everything:

I always enjoy ATYCLB most on a perfect fall day, because that's the kind of day it was that album was released, and I drove around that night listening to it.

HTDAAB came out the week of Thanksgiving, so I always associate it with the warm feelings of Thanksgiving-Christmas time of year.

I first heard NLOTH in February 09. It was a dark, dreary day with snow on the ground... and that's kind of how I still feel when I listen to it.

Very true. The video for New Year's Day heavily influences War's winter feel...I think.

I associate most U2 albums with Fall because that's when I bought my first one and that's when they always released new stuff for several years. The Joshua Tree makes me think of Christmas and Passengers is a nighttime album.
