What are your favorite covers of U2 songs?

Personally, I think that nothing compares to the real thing...but, are there any cover versions of U2 songs that you think are "even better than the real thing"?

I'd love to hear some reimagined covers of U2 songs...not tributes, per sé....Post a link so we can all enjoy these covers!

Eddie Vedder playing 'A Sort of Homecoming' in Sydney 2006. U2 were touring Oz at the same time and might I add...U2 and Pearl Jam touring Australia at the same time was AMAZING! I was at this concert. I had just finished year 12. Life was bliss.

Nice picks!! I haven't listened to a lot of U2 covers, but this one stuck with me. I downloaded this song from someplace back in the day (when things like Napster existed ), and I always liked it. It didn't have Bono reciting a poem in front of it, but whoever added it gave it a nice touch.

I had forgotten about that cover. It's decent. However, I'm ashamed to say that I discovered that cover a year before I discovered the original song.
