US tour to begin in Chicago at Soldier Field

U2 to open U.S. tour in Chicago

U2 is set to announce a Sept. 12 date at Soldier Field in Chicago to open the U.S. leg of its world tour.

"That will be announced Monday," a spokesman for U2's Principal Management in Dublin said, confirming a report in Billboard.

Tickets will range from $30 to $250, according to the report, and will go on sale later this month.
