We know you love U2's music, or you wouldn't be gathering here to talk about the band. We also know that if you appreciate U2, you probably appreciate beautiful works of art. So, what we are attempting to do is merge the two: what about U2's incredible music providing the landscape for an innovative visual experience?
Who are we? We're a group of film students collaborating to make a music video that celebrates the history of U2 through the song "Stand Up Comedy". Using kids to play the band members, we will look back at U2’s many different phases starting with the “big hair” from Boy/War and moving on to Joshua Tree, Achtung Baby/Pop, All That You Can’t Leave Behind/How to Dismantle, and ending on No Line on the Horizon.
So where do you come to play? Well unfortunately, as students, we barely have enough money to pay for semester tuition, let alone to finance a short film. At this point, all we need is a few hundred dollars more to make this project a reality. Just a few hundred. So, you really can help us - even if you don't consider yourself the future financer of films.
