So what is the weakest U2 song ever, then?

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
the worst song U2 ever recorded was Yahweh. Most embarrassing vocals from Bono I've ever heard. They way he sings the chorus reminds me of when my balls started dropping during puberty. Horrible, horrendous tune.

Babyface is pretty bad. Which is funny considering how good the rest of the album is. (besides Some Days, which is also pretty meh)

Pop has some candidates as well. I could agree with Red Light too.

Babyface is THE worst U2 song ever.

That song is absolute aural Diarrhea
No, no, no no, no. Worser than Miami and Grace?

Personally i don't think Babyface is that bad.

Yeah, the majority of the vote is Red Light. Next time i should make a poll.

Come on people, VERTIGO is the wrost U2 song EVEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRR

:down::down::down::down:
Vertigo is at least less boring than some other U2 songs. I would agree Native Son is a lot better, but Vertigo is better than GOYB, Grace and Miami, and Red Light.

No, you think it's their most awful.

I happen to like Vertigo. It's not a brilliant song, but it's catchy and it's got a nice riff. Native Son is better, but still, Vertigo beats the crap out of imo boring songs like Babyface and Red Light.

Those Da da da's are just horrendous. :yikes:

Vertigo is better than GOYB

I'm gonna have to post something I already posted in other thread...

NO U
Vertigo is a better song.
Come on, Vertigo was also a lot better received than GOYB.

We could go on all day long...
And better recived doesn't prove anything. ;)

Btw, GOYB is my #6 fav U2 song, Vertigo is not on my top 50. I really, really liked this song. The "let me in the sound" part is one of the (if not the) most thrilling things I've ever heard.
Of course, IMO.
