Unforgettable Fire is perhaps quite arty and European, and Rattle & Hum is perhaps not arty enough and too American -- The Joshua Tree is the perfect balance of those influences that were going through the band at the time.

Not a bad song on this album at all. I have heard by some that TTYW is terrible but really I like it's sort of Country feel, and I HATE Country music! (Country music is x's 1000)

Like with AB, this order could change at a moment's notice. I like everything except perhaps BTBS which sounds quite flat compared to live.

I can't decide if this would be my favorite album of all time or Achtung Baby.

Whenever I listen to either one all the way through, I say that one is my favorite album. But then the next day I may listen to the other one and switch my favorite.

They're both so fantastic and so perfect.

. . . that was stupidly difficult . . . I so remember doing the line up for this gorgeous album and buying it in two formats . . . good old cassette and lp . . . and I don't think I actually ever played the album until the original wore out and stretched from constant rewinds and fast forward

Tomorrow I will look at the running order I just posted and want to change it . . . but based on the last listen and the goosebumple meter I'll stick with this for now!

Not enough superlatives in the world to do this gorgoeus album justice; and the story about how they decided the running order of this album is still one of my favourite anecdotes too
