No talk about Lee's Beautiful Day performance on American Idol?

Didn't see a thread and I was surprised, but I thought he had a chance to win the competition with that song and he sort of butchered it and didn't put the "heart" or "passion" into it at certain parts, we'll see tonight!

The less said about it the better. Seriously, it was so not good.

Here's a youtube of it for those who don't watch Idol.

There's an entire thread about American Idol and this performance in particular in Zoo Station.

Agree, they were setting up Lee last week I thought with some good songs and he had the chance with BDAY bc it's such a great song, but people could vote against it bc they don't want to hear it ever again!

This guy isn't even worthy enough to sing the intro to Red Light. Many thumbs down

After watching others try to tackle this song, it's just makes it obvious that when Bono sings he gives us 110%...his whole soul is poured out .

The passion cannot be captured by anyone else. IMO
