Ever since the AB re-release arrived, & we watched From The Sky Down, I'd been meditating on what I call the "myth" of Achtung Baby. In this essay, I try to show that the meaning of the record is even better, more real, than the myth:

And in celebration of the re-release, and in anticipation of a really amazing U2 tribute coming to my town this week, I'm doing a 2-hour U2/AB themed radio show tomorrow night.
