Hey, Interferons -

I'm at the coffee shop and just heard a cover of "Love Is Blindness" I'd never encountered before: It had classical guitar and a pop-opera vibe, and I think some of the lyrics were sung in Italian or Spanish. (I was sort of half-listening, and the song was almost over before I realized what it was.) The girl at the counter couldn't tell me who it was -- it was on a satellite music feed.

Who is it? (It's most assuredly not the Cassandra Wilson version.) Google searches for "u2 love is blindness cover opera" and the like haven't yielded me an answer yet. Thanks!

Never mind -- it's the Waldemar Bastos version from the Africa Celebrates U2 album. I'll do slightly more rigorous looking on my own before I post next time.

Haha, no worries! I hadn't heard this so, thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Also, don't wait sooo long between posts! You've been here for years, only 42 posts, stick around !
