Dallas was my 28th show. I heard a poster on here once say he had seen the band 234 times. I was always jealous of that guy.

Just 3 times :(

The next time opportunity allows, I'm keen to follow them around whichever country I'm in and just indulge.

Lets see.....

Popmart - 2
Elevation - 1 (had a chance for a second but passed....I regret that)
Vertigo - 2
U2 360 - 2
iE - 1

8 total shows with Joshua Tree 2017 on the way in June....so soon to be 9

Just three...

360 Chicago 1 (2009)
360 Houston (2009)
JT Dallas (2017)

By some miracle, every U2 show I've ever seen has had Ultraviolet, my favorite song. 2/3 of them have had Bad. I also saw the last performance of Your Blue Room. Not a bad run.

Both Vertigo Auckland shows, the first two Chicago 360 shows, the two Auckland ones, and Nashville.

So seven.

I've heard One Tree Hill and The Fly more than the entire Rattle and Hum live favourites.

Edited: Fuck I just realised I've heard Bad more than Angel of Harlem or Desire.

Tours
Elevation - 2
Vertigo - 9
360 - 3
i/e - 4

will go to both MetLife shows, and may make an appearance at FedEx if i can swing it.

"Others"
Brooklyn Bridge show
Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 25th Anniversary Concert
Tonight Show on top of Rockefeller Center
Edge and Adam w/ Unforgettable Fire @ The Cutting Room

The song i've seen the most? Vertigo - 21 (yes - vertigo has only been played 18 of the 22 times i've seen U2 perform, yet i've seen the song 21 times :sigh:)

I've seen 78 unique songs over 22 performances. (3.5 songs i've never heard before per concert)

for comparison's sake...
i've seen Pearl jam 13 times with 138 unique songs (10.6 songs i've never heard before per concert)
i've seen Springsteen 10 times with 102 unique songs (10.2 songs i've never heard before per concert

while i certainly never expect u2 to shuffle things up the way Pearl Jam or Springsteen do, the ratios are pretty stark.

24 between 1992 and now. One show in 92, one in 97, none on Elevation, and made up for lost time since then. ;)

I feel like I need to see one more show this summer to give me a nice round number.

*flight-purchasing finger twitching intensifies*

The second JT30 show in Pasadena was my 9th time seeing U2 live, and if they make me wait years on such an awful uneven number I'll lose my mind. Tempted to go to Chicago just to even it out [emoji38].

Vancouver & Seattle were 61/62. Philly is next and Cleveland will be 66.
If they don't bring back
ASOH
, I may not go to all of the next 4 I have tix for. Show is too short, they need to play b-sides from the JT era or at least add something from R&H. Encores are not enticing at all - I Will Follow in Seattle was a great moment (and seeing Eddie Vedder / Mumford on Mothers was fabulous) but overall, the set is disappointing.

I'm sitting by myself in the airport bar and said WHAT THE FUCK so loud I may be removed.

I was bummed that ASOH was dropped too. That's a real WTF moment and this setlist is short, which is why I'm waiting for the experience tour.

My first show was 21 songs. It was on Vertigo.

Admittedly I miss ASOH and would like more songs but I'd fall over myself to buy a ticket if this was announced in New Zealand. They could even text me the setlist in advance and I'd still turn up and rock out.
