I think an AB coveralbum would be really cool, if they choose good bands.

As soon as I saw the title of the thread, I thought of you

And cover albums can be good, there's the Leonard Cohen one, and some good Neil/Tim Finn/Crowded House ones..

Even Better Than The Real Thing: Muse
One: David Bowie
Until The End Of The World: Florence + The Machine
Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses: Snow Patrol
So Cruel: The National
The Fly: Arctic Monkeys
Mysterious Ways: The Corrs + Lady Blacksmith Mambazo
Tryin' To Throw Your Arms Around The World: R.E.M. with Patti Smith
Ultraviolet (Light My Way): Daniel Lanois' Black Dub

Love Is Blindness: Lissie with B.B. King

Just off the top of my head...
And to the original idea of Glasvegas I can only say

The cover last year of theirs wasn't that bad - even if they happened to receive support from The Edge. But that was a completely different tune anyway. To each their own.

Now that could be interesting.

Also, I don't think I'm all against an Interpol cover of Love is Blindness, as long as I don't have to watch them play it live.

I call her Drummer Nanny. Was at the same gig as well. She looked like she was just pretending to drum there to watch the boys. Looked like she was hating the job too!

Dear god. Never have I experienced such horrors. Possibly worst live band ever. And if you don't believe me, ask the people who went what he did on stage in Cardiff.

Don't worry baby, it's gonna be all right. Uncertainty can be a guiding light...

This. Or Until the End of the World. I think they'd kick ass on both.
