This is at least the 2nd posting that passed on listing a song for HTDAAB. To list pick a song for October but pass on Bomb is a little misguided. I don't get all the hate for Bomb, it is better than the beloved ATYCLB.

I almost skipped it too. I picked COBL and honestly, I'd consider it a slightly better than average song with some annoying flaws. I prefer Mercy and Smile (and a few alternates) over everything that made the album.

Yeah, October is their worst album taken at face value. But they made that album when they were 21/22 years old and didn't know what they were doing. They made HTDAAB as total pros, double that age. And as far as I'm concerned it sucked and still does. So, relatively speaking, I consider it their worst album.
 
The peaks on October are infinitely higher than those on Bomb. The best Bomb tracks are like 8/10 and pale in comparison to classics like Gloria and Tomorrow.
 
October is the band's most underrated album. I think it's pretty dang good and it's one of my favorites. I rank it about the same as Boy and War. They're all great. HTDAAB is decent with some good tracks, but it really brings nothing to their catalogue sonically or theme wise.
