I always wondered why Bono didn't snippet it more. The "Soothe me mother, Rule me father, Move me a mountain" bit near the end seems like it could fit with a few tunes. Vertigo for starters. I really wish they brought it back in full though. There was a recording from a Vertigo tour rehearsal way back yonder.

He could have done! However during Popmart from Mexico City I'm pretty sure I hear him singing "Move me a mountain". This performance also has it a little clearer:
