I would just like to say I love this song to death. My love for it burns with the intensity of a thousand suns It is EASILY my favorite song song from the years 1993-99, and among my top 3 favorites from the entire decade. It's probably in my top ten favorites ever.

It's beautiful in so many ways...and actually, somehow, invokes memories of my childhood. And I think I might have cried a tiny bit the first time I saw the video

Next to Bad, this is my my favorite U2 song.

My top 2 also (kindred spirits?). Full band version is best, but I'll take accoustic over not, anytime. Finally got to hear it live at TO1 this year (wz in RZ) and I coulda/maybe/almost "misted up" a bit..had to bite my tongue though, so as not to singalong, so I could just take it in.

Also, I forgot to mention that the video (with either the soundtrack or album version) is one of U2's best (all of Zooropa's singles made amazing videos, really).

Yes! The soundtrack mix is my favorite as well, love the drums in that version. Amazing song.

Here is a video from the TO show I was at. The poster claimed this was "the single greatest concert moment of my life". Judging by their locatin you can see why. PS- the first line is "Green light..." correct? LOL.
