"Maybe it's just the latitude and longitude of the places we're playing, but there has been an extraordinary amount of undergarments onstage."

-- Bono, 2001

This quote found on header of another U2site, made me wonder has anyone ACTUALLY seen women's underwear thrown on stage of a U2 show (any era)

I've seen this lots at Motley Crue concerts, but never in 30 plus U2 shows. Just doesnt seem like the right crowd for it. But if Bono says so.....

Is this the place where we put a "Bono is a liar" joke?

I'm curious about the "latitude and longitude" part of the comment - like he's just saying maybe it's only because of where they're playing.

or it's all just some Bonoesque bullshit. Bless his heart.

must we let it happen again

I saw a bra fly into the air towards Edge in Oklahoma. So, yes, it has happened. No, it wasn't my bra.

Edge was staring into space as usual, so I don't think he saw it.

I saw two lovely young ladies flash the stage during the Montreal PopMart show.

Good times. :shifty:

I remember a particular show, I was at, and the ladies in front of Adam had all their covered V-neck breasts resting over the bar.

I tell no lies.

I though Adam was paying extra particular attention to the black guy (me) in the front row.

I was beaten out by the breasts.......several sets of them......

I quickly realized, I'm not so special.

due to the aging fan base can we expect any under garments to fly during this current tour?
