Electrical Storm has been eliminated.

Instructions: Simple. This is a traditional survivor. You will vote for your LEAST FAVORITE track!

The poll will be open for 24 hours.

Here is a list of tracks in this poll, all linked to YT for your reference.

11 O'Clock Tick Tock
Love Comes Tumbling
The Three Sunrises
Luminous Times
Spanish Eyes
Lady With The Spinning Head / UV1
Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me
The Ground Beneath Her Feet
Mercy

I'm not sure where to go now that Electrical Storm is gone. Maybe Three Sunrises, maybe Mercy, maybe Spanish Eyes. Will have to do some listening.

Also, despite that I felt it was time for Electrical Storm to go, I do like it. Just not as much as what's left. I'm also probably alone in thinking the 360 live version was one of the best versions.

What a comeback! My faith has (temporarily) been restored!

Everything left is pretty damned solid. My instinct here is Love Comes Tumbling.

Spanish Eyes

Has a few weak moments that remind me why it is a B-side. (One of the best b-sides)

Mercy is an oasis in a period of bland tracks. Stays for now.

This is where we part. LCT might be my choice to win the whole thing. It's a tough field that's left, but I love LCT a lot.

Mercy. Because the production is terrible.

I don't understand criticizing the production on a track that was never really finished from a production standpoint(i.e. mastering) even if was more or less finished from songwriting and performance standpoints. Plus we still don't know 100% the genesis of how it leaked out, for all we know it's like a dub or something and that's why it sounds the way it does.

One of several reasons so many of us wish they would finally master this track and release it officially.

I can't stand listening to songs with terrible production. I don't care if they're finished or not. The band never released the version that was widely circulated. It just sounds bad. It's compressed like crazy so the music itself has no volumic dynamic. At all. But not in a pop music sense. More like in a "we want this ballad to be loud, let's compress it to hell!" sorta way. Belongs on HTDAAB perfectly in that regard.

If the band ever were to put it out not compressed to all hell, I might enjoy it. But given it is the weakest era of U2 and suffers from one of the things of the era that makes the era bad, I reserve my right to dislike it for that reason. In present company, I'd vote any track from 2001-2007. Including albums.

If you people kick out Spanish Eyes, one of the two best songs here, while Mercy sticks around, you're all completely bonkers.

Mercy. What the hell is it still doing here?

(Electrical Storm should have been eliminated this round)

Ok, I finally logged in on a PC as opposed to the app, so I can finally throw my hat in the ring. I enjoy everything left on the board so I just gave a refresher listen to all. I actually enjoy Mercy but no way in hell it's better than Spanish Eyes.

See ya, Mercy!

This is going to be excruciating for here on out.

Having a very hard time choosing between Spanish Eyes and Mercy.

Luminous Times seems safe, so maybe I'll just vote for The Three Sunrises. I love all of these songs dearly, but TTS would probably be the first one I'd eliminate.

I'm happy for Mercy to stick around, but I'm ready for Spanish Eyes to depart the competition now.

I prefer the other remaining 80s songs anyway.

I always enjoyed Spanish Eyes because it was upbeat and rocked out, unlike most of JT. But it hasn't really revealed much else over the years, unlike most of what's left.

Spanish Eyes sounds like a really hoarse Bono is just improvising over an instrumental the band threw together. Never got the love for it.

I've thought The Three Sunrises has been the worst track standing for awhile. It just doesn't do much of anything for me.

My vote is lady with the spinning head. I just don't dig it.

I'm not if I can give Lady full protection for too much longer consider some of the pieces of the song went into other finished tracks.

Mate it's one of the best-written songs of the JT era. How Trip made the album ahead of it - or Heartland - baffles me.

I'm especially surprised you don't dig it because of just how chimy Edge's guitar is.

And we have a late vote breaking the tie and giving Mercy a one-vote edge over Spanish Eyes!

Haven't yet decided on where to place my own vote.

Just under 45 minutes left to make a difference!

The only thing I don't love about it is Bono's execution of the word 'love' in 'I love the way talk to me' etc in the studio version. It's a bit rough.

FUCK i missed the poll by what a minute or two? chuck one in for Mercy if possible?

Yeah I just mean for Mercy, I know it wouldn't it make any difference, just annoyed I forgot to vote again!
