Instructions: Simple. This is a traditional survivor. You will vote for your LEAST FAVORITE track!

The poll will be open for 24 hours.

Here is a list of tracks in this poll, all linked to YT for your reference.

11 O'Clock Tick Tock
Love Comes Tumbling
The Three Sunrises
Luminous Times
Spanish Eyes
Lady With The Spinning Head / UV1
Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me
The Ground Beneath Her Feet
Stateless
Electrical Storm / William Orbit Mix / Early BBC/Radio One Version
Mercy

From what's left it really must be Electrical Storm. I like it. Always did, though the demo i preferred to the single version.
But it's the only song left you could call bland. It's a little bit paint by numbers. It's not overly creative. The rest are. It's not great lyrically. In terms of the lads playing their instruments no one does anything particularly special.
Good song, but time for it to go.

Do you have access to a laptop yet or do I need to count your vote manually?

Either Stateless or Mercy. I really don't care which. But the rest are untouchable, and choosing between them in rounds to come will be a nightmare.

Thanks namk, we're home again so I'll vote later.
Axver, you are an enigma. I can't pin down your taste.

This is really getting hard now. All songs here deserve to be recognised as outstanding one way or another.

I may be voting to save particular songs over the next couple of rounds. Stateless, Spinning Head and 11 O'clock are all potentially expendable.

I'm gonna vote Stateless to save Luminous Times.

Shit, I accidentally voted for Luminous Times instead of Stateless, silly fool.

Hope this can somehow be reversed or accounted for, Namckur?

I like how only 2 of the 5 people voting for Mercy actually show their faces in this thread.

If it gets eliminated, the rest of this poll is invalid. Ridiculous that fucking epic has more votes than Electrical Storm aka We Can Be Like Oasis Too.

Mercy to save Stateless.

(oops. Didn't realise I was required to stand before the U2 Superfan High Council and explain myself.)

I didn't like Mercy back then, I don't like it now.
Don't know what else there is to say about it.

I don't know what to do. I love Mercy and Stateless both. Electrical Storm should go before both, but that's not going to happen.

I just don't know if I can bring myself to vote for Stateless just to save Mercy. I may end up voting for ES on principle. Haven't decided yet.

In a tight decision I finally decided to vote Stateless rather than Mercy.

Laz, you've ranted about Electrical Storm for years and it's done nothing to persuade me that it's anything but a quality song, well above the standard of almost everything U2 has written post-Pop. It's a rare 2000s U2 song that I rate well compared to the band's eighties and nineties classics. Even something like Fez, which I really enjoy, can't quite hold its own against my older favourites, but Electrical Storm does it for me. Too bad it doesn't for you.

If Mercy gets eliminated this round I'm gonna chuck a Cobbler.

Just under an hour and twenty minutes to go in this poll.

A friendly reminder that Intedomine mistakenly voted for Luminous Times when he meant to vote for Stateless. So rather than the three-way tie at 5-5-5 between Luminous Times, Stateless, and Mercy that shows in the poll, the score is actually 6-Stateless, 5-Mercy, 4-Luminous Times.

So Mercy would need two more votes to save Stateless.

I'm still torn.

Well this is an unexpected development! Two late votes have suddenly taken Luminous Times from being safe to, after taking intedomine's mistaken vote into consideration, being tied with Stateless at 6 votes apiece!

This makes my decision easier. I was and am torn between Stateless and Mercy, but I am not torn on thinking that Luminous Times is superior to both. Therefore, I feel I have no choice but to vote for Stateless in order to ensure Luminous Times's progression to the top 10.
