But what annoys me about Apple is, as soon as you spend a lot of money on one of their products, they immediately come out with a "new and improved" version that makes yours all but worthless..

But that is what makes them so great. They never settle and are always working to better their product, complacency is something they do not believe in.


It's kind of like if U2 stopped recording music after the Joshua Tree and just road that success for the next 20 years. There would be no Achtung Baby....no All That You Can't Leave Behind.....No HTDAAB!

I actually listened to this album the other day for the first time in a couple of years and I like it more and more as time goes on. One Step Closer is starting to become one of my favorites. Now if only NLOTH would grow on me.......

my 1st gen U2 ipod died within a year and a half of daily use. I bought a Nano (not sure what gen) 5 years ago, also daily use, and it still works to this day. I love all things Apple but I've always been a little bitter over the fact that I spent so much money on a product that only last 18 months. I even bought the black and red case they sold to match it.

Off topic, but The Complete U2 had been on iTunes for a while, what the hell happened to it? I know it has been gone for years now and it cost an assload of iTunes money to buy the entire thing, but why did they just take it off all of a sudden? There were some awesome tracks on there. Unless of course they took it off to try and update it?
