performing on the oprah show?

wow. i thought all this was at the president's party.

performing on the oprah show is an altogether different story. maybe my mum and grandma and fill me in as to how exciting it was.

To be fair, the duet with Alicia Keys on Don't Give Up was quite good, I liked that version and the simple performance they did.

Any U2 is good U2 to me! :D
I'm excited to see them come back into the spotlight with any new material. (more NLOTH than some Oprah song though)

Sounds like it's gonna be corny, as per usual with Oprah songs.

Is anyone going to put this on YouTube? I don't know if I wanna sit through the whole show just to see Bono sing for a little bit, probably at the end. Is he gonna talk, too?

So Bono's not even on the show? Did he even sing? I'm watching the beginning of the show and all they're doing now is gushing about Obama. With Ashton Kutcher.

he was on via prerecorded singing.

the song was basically america worship.

fantastically cheesy, over the top, terrible celeb collaboration song.

That was horrible and as much as I like Obama and the hope he represents I really don't know how an Irishman, a Brit and a Canadian can sing so passionately about a foreign country (despite what it may mean to them)
