Hey guys! I'm in New York City on vacation and was thinking it would be awesome to visit some historic U2 sites while I'm out and about. I researched the first gig U2 ever played in America and found that it was in NYC in the Ritz Theater.
[Edited after I found more info on the original Ritz]
I looked up the Ritz Theater and found out that if you Google Ritz (Rock Club), you will find it on 11th Street in NYC. Here's it's Wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ritz_(rock_club)
Has anyone visited it since it became a night club? I'm also interested in architecture and would love to take a ton of pictures of this place if I have the opportunity.
I'm in the city for the next week. I'd love to hear any other ideas for U2-related places to go if you have some!
