I wish there was some clear footage of this performance, but alas we at least have 'something' to look at.

The Conspiracy of Hope actually happened in the middle of TJT sessions. I'm sure U2 used the energy of that tour to finish up the album...:yes:
 
Don't forget the original version of Silver and Gold and don't get me started on the Sun City song - Bono at his hellfire best and sorry I know that was 1985 but such an amazing time in my early U2 fandom
 
I love the Self Aid performance. Bono is angry as all hell. It has one of the best performances of Bad ever. Albeit it's a slightly shorter version with some of the middle verses missing. But that is more than made up for by Bono's Candle In The Wind improv at the end. Simply awesome.
